Regular Access to a Capable Computer
(Minimum Recommended Hardware)

You must have access to a computer and printer for your coursework on a regular basis.

Many local libraries and community colleges have computers available for student and public use. Check to see if you may use these facilities on a regular basis and if they have all the hardware and software you will need to complete your coursework.

You may encounter fewer technical difficulties if the computer equipment is for your own private use. For example, some courses require students to download software, which may not be allowed on public computers.

Your own computer

All computer equipment that you use for your coursework should meet or exceed the minimum hardware recommendations. As a registered student, you can purchase a variety of computers and other items at a discount.
