Checklist

The following checklist will help online students complete all required procedures for taking online classes. Please print it out and check it off as you complete each task:

• Be admitted to the University
• Submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if applying for financial aid
• Speak with an advisor about degrees/classes/orientation
• Register for classes through My Grizzly Den

• Make sure Brightspace account is functioning
• Know how to access your University email
• Be able to reset your BearPass password
• Know how to send an attachment in an email message
• Know how to use and update My Grizzly Den information
• How to use compression software for sending items by email
• Know how to login to Brightspace
• Know how to update personal information in Brightspace
• Know how to locate your courses in Brightspace
• Know how to navigate a Brightspace course
• Know how to use the Brightspace Drop Box
• Know how to use the discussion board in Brightspace
